Institution Access

Interfacing system settings are a system-wide resource without any institution identity.

Adding

Interfacing system settings cannot be added.

Editing

Interfacing system settings can be edited by users with Interfacing Settings Manage permission.

Cloning

Interfacing system settings cannot be cloned.

Deactivating or Deleting

Interfacing system settings cannot be deactivated or deleted.

Interfacing system settings fields are located in the following places in the RALS™ SYSTEM:

When viewing or editing the interfacing system setting’s details, the fields are defined as follows:

Field Notes
Inbound
Date To Stop Verbose Logging Date at which the Inbound service will stop verbose logging
Order Message Processing When enabled, Inbound will process order messages
HL7 Inbound Ports The TCP ports on which Inbound will listen for inbound (ADT and order) messages
Max Time Between Inbound Messages The maximum number of minutes expected between inbound (ADT and order) messages; if Inbound does not receive an inbound (ADT or order) message within this time, the health of the Inbound service will be ‘In Error’
STAT Order Priority Orders received with this priority value will be treated as STAT orders by the RALS™ SYSTEM
ADT Mapping When enabled, ADT Units may be mapped to RALS™ SYSTEM locations
Outbound
Process Future Results Upload Pending results whose date/time is later than the current time plus this value are not processed by Outbound
Process Past Results Upload Pending results whose date/time is earlier than the current time minus this value are not processed by Outbound
Fail Ack Pending Results Older Than Ack Pending results will be failed if an acknowledgment is not received within the configured timeout period
Result Reassignment When enabled, results may be reassigned when reviewed
Result Recall When enabled, results may be recalled when reviewed
Result Recall Value Options Options identified in order for operators to use pre-defined result recall value options
