View or Edit LDAP Details Fields
When viewing or editing the LDAP system setting’s details, the fields are defined as follows:
Field | Notes |
---|---|
Settings | |
LDAP Enabled | Enables the RALS™ SYSTEM LDAP Interface and allows the RALS™ SYSTEM to sync with an LDAP server |
Unique ID | LDAP attribute that uniquely represents an operator across all interfaced LDAP servers |
Allow Unique ID Editing | When enabled, a user with Operator Manage permission may edit the LDAP Unique ID in an Operator’s details |
Unique ID Is GUID | When enabled, the RALS™ SYSTEM will process the LDAP Unique ID value for an added operator received from an LDAP server as a GUID (Globally Unique Identifier); if the value is not able to be processed as a GUID, then an error will be recorded in the debug logs |
Query Page Size | The limit of the number of operators that the RALS™ SYSTEM makes per request to the LDAP server; the RALS™ SYSTEM will continue to request additional operators with this request size until all operators are retrieved from the server |
Operator Batch Size | Maximum number of operators included in each LDAP API request |
Start Recertification If LDAP Sync Takes Longer Than | Number of minutes that the RALS™ SYSTEM allows to pass for an LDAP sync to complete before the Recertification process continues; if the LDAP sync has not completed in the allotted amount of time, it will continue processing until completed, but the other steps in the Recertification process will begin |
