Device Events
For some device types, the RALS™ SYSTEM is also able to record device events: both events that occur on the device and events that occur during communication with the RALS™ SYSTEM.

Institution Access
A device event’s institution identity is its device’s assigned location’s parent institution.
Adding
Device events cannot be manually added; they are automatically added for some device types.
Editing
Device events cannot be edited.
Cloning
Device events cannot be cloned.
Deactivating or Deleting
Device events cannot be deactivated, nor deleted.
Fields
When viewing device events in a data table, the fields are defined as follows:
