Ranges

Depending on the product type, a material may have manufacturer ranges, custom ranges, or both. Manufacturer ranges are the vendor-provided ranges included on the material lot’s package insert. Conversely, custom ranges are ranges intended to better represent the material lot based on real-world testing and experience. While some product types provide the ability to specify custom ranges for individual devices, some support specifying custom ranges for all devices using the material lot.
