Device Tasks
The RALS™ SYSTEM provides the ability to manage device tasks. Device tasks can be created for any device-related activities, such as device cleanings.
Device Task Execution
When executing a device task, the user will be prompted with the following:

| Instructions | Instructions on how to complete the task provided by task creator |
| Instructions URL | URL with instructions on how to complete the task provided by task creator |
| Completion Time | Date and time when the task was completed |
| Devices | Device(s) that were used to complete the task |
| Notes | Open text field that can be used at the user’s discretion |
Institution Access
A device task’s institution identity is defined by user selection when the task is created. The assigned institution cannot be changed later.

Add Fields
When adding a device task, the fields are defined as follows:

| Require Notes on Execution | Enabling this option requires a note to be submitted upon task excution before the task can be completed |
| Affects QC | Indicates that the task should be plotted on Levey-Jennings charts which include results from the associated devices |
| Instructions | Open text field for instructing user how to complete the task |
| Instructions URL | URL where instructions for completing task are provided |

View or Edit Details Fields
