E-mail View Tasks
The RALS™ SYSTEM provides the ability to manage e-mail view tasks. Allows the user to automatically or manually send data table content via e-mail.
E-mail View Task Execution
E-mail view tasks can be automatically or manually executed. One email is sent per display view to all recipients defined within the e-mail view task.
If a task is executed that includes at least one recipient that is inside the task owner’s institution access and at least one recipient that is outside the task owner’s institution access, then the task execution is successful and e-mails are sent only to recipient(s) inside the task owner’s institution access.
Task Ownership
When an operator is assigned as task owner, content associated with the task (e.g. recipients, display views) is accessible according to the user’s institution access. A task is only visible to the owner of the task.
Institution Access
An e-mail view task’s institution identity is defined by user selection when the task is created. The assigned institution cannot be changed later.

Add Fields
When adding an e-mail view task, the fields are defined as follows:

| Views | Display views which will be sent via e-mail when the task is executed |
| Send Empty Display Views | When checked, the task will send an email for each selected view regardless of whether any data exists in each view |
| Attachment | Additional export file to include as an attachment to e-mail |
| Body | Message to be included in the body of sent e-mail |

| Automatic Execution | When checked, the task will automatically executed |
| Time Zone | The time zone applied to the view’s filters and the display of data in the email |
| Notes | |
| Notes | Open text field that can be used at your discretion |
View or Edit Details Fields
When viewing or editing an e-mail view task details, the fields are defined as follows:
