RALS™ SYSTEM users can configure database system settings.

Institution Access
Database system settings are a system-wide resource without any institution identity.
Adding
Database system settings cannot be added.
Editing
Database system settings can be edited by users with Database Settings Manage permission.
Cloning
Database system settings cannot be cloned.
Deactivating or Deleting
Database system settings cannot be deactivated or deleted.
Copying the Database
Users with Database Settings Manage permission can copy the RALS™ SYSTEM database to the specified file location using the Copy Database action. This action is available when the Database group is selected on the System Settings data table or in the database system setting’s details.
Users also have the option to schedule a time for the database to automatically copy to the specified location using the Database Copy Time field in the database system setting’s details.

When viewing or editing the database system setting’s details, the fields are defined as follows:

| Database Copy Time | Time at which the RALS™ SYSTEM will automatically copy the database to the location specified in the Database Copy Location field; this will run based on the server’s time zone, regardless of whether multiple time zone support is enabled |
| Database Copy Location | The file location where the RALS™ SYSTEM database will be copied to |
| Database Size Warning Threshold | Percentage at which a database size warning message will display on the RALS™ SYSTEM login page. View the Statuses page to find out which database is at capacity. |
