Institution Access
E-mail system settings are a system-wide resource without any institution identity.
Adding
E-mail system settings cannot be added.
Editing
E-mail system settings can be edited by users with E-mail Settings Manage permission.
Cloning
E-mail system settings cannot be cloned.
Deactivating or Deleting
E-mail system settings cannot be deactivated or deleted.

E-mail system settings fields are located in the following places in the RALS™ SYSTEM:

When viewing or editing the e-mail system setting’s details, the fields are defined as follows:

| SMTP Server Address | IP address or hostname of the SMTP Server |
| SMTP Port | Port number used by the RALS™ SYSTEM to communicate with the SMTP server |
| SMTP Use SSL | Enable for hospital systems that use enhanced security protocols (TLS/SSL) |
| From E-mail Address | The e-mail address that appears in the “From:” field in e-mails sent to recipients |
| User Name | The user name used to authenticate to the SMTP server |
| Password | The password used to authenticate to the SMTP server |
| SMTP Max Attachment Size | The maximum allowed size of email attachments (in MB) |
| System Admin E-mail | The e-mail address used when a user needs to contact a system administrator |
