Attempts
When a recertification set is executed, the system attempts to recertify applicable operators based on the recertification set’s criteria. For each operator potentially able to be recertified by the execution, the details of the attempted recertification are captured – including the overall status of the attempt and which criteria was or was not met. The Recertification Set Execution Attempts can be viewed for all executions, for an individual execution, or for an individual operator (see Operators for more information).

Institution Access
When certification groups is not enabled, a recertification execution attempt’s institution identity is defined by the recertification set that is associated with the execution attempt.
When certification groups is enabled, the institution assignment of all recertification sets will be cleared, and institution access will no longer apply to recertification set execution attempts.
Certification Group Access
A recertification execution attempt’s certification group identity is defined by the certification group selected for the recertification set associated with the execution attempt. Only execution attempts of recertification sets within a user’s certification group access, and execution attempts that occured before certification groups was enabled will be visible. See Certification Group Access for more information.
Adding
Recertification set execution attempts cannot be manually added to the RALS™ SYSTEM. They are automatically created when a recertification set is executed.
Editing
Recertification set execution attempts cannot be edited.
Cloning
Recertification set execution attempts cannot be cloned.
Deactivating or Deleting
Recertification set execution attempts cannot be deactivated or deleted.
