Result Values

A result value represents a test parameter that has been entered, calculated, or measured. Result values are typically received from a device; however, some may have been entered directly into RALS via manual test entry or respiratory entry.

Result Values Icons

When viewing a result value, the following icons may be displayed:

Icon	Description	Notes
	Excluded	Indicates the result value will not be used for charts and statistics; automatically or manually excluded is denoted in the tooltip
	Entered	Indicates the result value was manually entered on the device or in the RALS™ SYSTEM
	Correlated	Indicates the result value was modified by the device based on a correlation study; applies to a limited set of device types
	Duplicate	Indicates multiple values were sent by the device for the same parameter; applies to a limited set of device types

Institution Access

A result value’s institution identity is defined by the parent result’s location.

Adding

A result value cannot be manually added.

Respiratory values can be manually appended to certain patient results; see Enter Respiratory Values for more information.

Editing

A result value cannot be edited.

Cloning

A result value cannot be cloned.

Deactivating or Deleting

A result value cannot be deactivated nor deleted.
