Report Tasks

The RALS™ SYSTEM provides the ability to manage reports tasks. Report tasks can be executed manually or automatically.

Reports records can be generated through tasks by specifying filter criteria.

Report Task Execution

Reports are generated using the snapshot of the report configuration that was taken when the task was created.

Institution Access

A report task’s institution identity is defined by your selection when the task is created.

Data in a report generated by a task will be limited to the selected institution(s).

Certification Group Access

A report task’s certification group identity is defined by your selection when the task is created.

Data in a report generated by a task will be limited to the selected certification group(s).

Add Fields

When adding a report task, the fields are defined as follows:

Field Notes
General
Institution Access Institution access for the task and reports generated by the task; data in the report generated by the task will be limited to the selected institution(s)
Certification Group Access Certification group access for the task and reports generated by the task; data in the report generated by the task will be limited to the selected certification group(s); only displayed if certification groups are enabled
Criteria
Time Zone Time Zone for the report generated by the task; date and time filters in the report will use the selected time zone
(Each filter on the selected configuration) Allows selecting filter criteria for generating the report
Generate Separate Reports (for each filter, as applicable) When selected, a separate report will be generated for each selected filter value
Include Deactivated Records (for each filter, as applicable) When selected, deactivated records will be included when a report is generated
Schedule
Automatic Execution When checked, the task will be automatically executed
Notes
Notes Open text field that can be used at your discretion
View or Edit Details Fields

When viewing or editing report task details, the fields are defined as follows:

Executions
Execution Status Execution status associated with the task
Execution Time Indicates the date and time the task was last executed; if multiple time zone support is supported, this is relative to your time zone preference
Execution Type Denotes whether the task was executed automatically or manually
Execution By Indicates the operator who last executed the task
Report Configuration Snapshot Displays the details of the report configuration at the time the task was created; if the report configuration is modified after the task is created, the snapshot will not reflect these changes; Note: the criteria use to generate a report is displayed under Criteria
