What happens to results from an unlicensed device?
When a result is received from an unlicensed device:
- The result will be transferred to the RALS™ SYSTEM
- The RALS™ SYSTEM will evaluate the result
- The result will be placed in a hidden state
- To view the result in the RALS™ SYSTEM, you must license the device that sent it
Why are results in a hidden state?
Results will be in a hidden state when:
- The device sending the result is not assigned to a location
- The device sending the result is not licensed
Why are results not evaluated immediately?
Results will be held based on settings in the evaluation criteria set:
- When the ‘Evaluate Repeat Tests’ checkbox is checked, the result will be held for the number of minutes defined by the Repeat Interval setting
- When the ‘Evaluation Delay Period’ setting is enabled, the result will be held for the number of minutes defined by the Delay Period (this supercedes the Repeat Interval setting)
Why does a result have an unknown material flag when it is using an existing material lot?
A result will have an unknown material flag when using an existing material lot when:
- The material was automatically added but has not been edited to mark the lot as reviewed
- The material was manually added but the lot was not marked as reviewed
