Why will my device not connect?
Devices may fail to connect when:
- The device connects with Ethernet but does not have the IP address of the RALS™ SYSTEM server and a port configured for its connection
- The device connects with WiFi but does not have the IP address of the RALS™ SYSTEM server and a port configured for its connection or it is not configured with the correct SSID and security settings
- The device connects with a serial RS 232 port but the RRC or the Digi Dataport is not configured with the IP address of the RALS™ SYSTEM server and the appropriate port number
Why is an operator not being uploaded to my device?
Operators are only uploaded to devices when:
- The device’s assigned location is one of the operator’s device access locations
- The operator has a certification for the device type
- The operator’s certification for the device type is not expired
Why is a patient ID not being uploaded to my device?
Patients are only uploaded to devices when:
- The patient ID type is correctly configured through device configuration
- The patient ID filter is correctly configured through device configuration
- Patient ADT units are correctly mapped to RALS™ SYSTEM institutions and locations
Why is my material lot not being uploaded to my device?
Materials are only uploaded to devices when:
- The device type supports material upload
- The material is marked reviewed
- The material is not expired
- The material is assigned to the device’s assigned location
- The material has not been deactivated
- The number of materials to be uploaded does not exceed the device’s material list limit
